About Me
My name is Victoria Vining. I studied art at Savannah College of Art and Design. I have been teaching art classes for over 3 years. I have 4 kids and we just moved from Texas to Vermont. I also draw portraits from Photos and do Painting Parties.
Combining My Passion for Children and Art
I have always loved children. I have been an assitant kindergarten teacher as well as a lower school substitute and afterschool program coodinator. No surprise that turned in to an afterschool art class. I started teaching art classes to homeschool students in my home in 2012. I started with 8 students per week and, through word of mouth, that number grew to almost 70. I like to keep the class size under 10 students and tailor each lesson to the imterests and skills of the students. I challenge them and help guide them, without ever saying they are 'wrong'. I give them the basic skills to keep building on and often hear the parents later tell me they are impressed when they see their kids using the lessons I taught them outside of class.

As a mom of 6, Victoria offered my kids a chance to do arts and crafts that they never could do with me! They had so much fun as well as learning a multitude of artistic medias in her classes. We were so sad to see her go! We did 8 week long courses with her as well as some longer themed classes. I would recommend it to kids of all ages.
